Murano blends modern technology with centuries old skill of hand blowing glass. Each unique glass globe contains embedded luminescent crystals which, once dark, give a wonderful glow but when you add in a super bright LED buld powered by the state of the art solar cell, the effect is truly wonderous. Once dark the globe appears to magically float in the air. Constructed from the coated aluminium and hand blown glass lens the Murano comes complete with a single Ni-Mh AA rechargeable battery which gives long term performance of approx 2 years. Still made from heavy duty glass the Sunset globe has a “crazed” appearance and at night its multi-coloured bulb glides through an incredible light show. The entire globe changes from green to blue to red making it the perfect centrepiece for a prized spot in any garden. The solar panels charge the light in all daylight conditions, the solar panels on top of the light convert sun light into electricity and recharges the battery. At night the LEDs turn on automatically using the stored energy. The location, weather conditions and seasonal lighting will affect the number of hours the LEDs are illuminated for. Ideally the garden light should receive 8 hours of full sunlight, which will enable the solar light to illuminate for up to 6 hours. The product comes with a 2 year warranty (excluding the battery).
